Adanna Uzowuru

Adanna Uzowuru is an Associate in the firm's Dispute Resolution Practice. She brings valuable insight from prior experience in the firm's Taxation Practice, which informs her multidisciplinary approach to legal problem-solving. She provides strategic legal representation, adeptly navigating complex civil and criminal matters to achieve favorable outcomes.

She has represented a real estate construction company against abuse of power by a local government council, drafted comprehensive briefs of argument for Supreme Court appeals safeguarding the interests of prominent financial institutions, and contributed to the successful defence of defendants in high-stakes criminal matters including rape, murder, armed robbery, and manslaughter, with appeals reaching the Supreme Court (pro bono).

Adanna holds an LL.B from Afe Babalola University, Ado Ekiti and a B.L. from the Nigerian Law School, Yola. She is a five-time recipient of the Aare Afe Babalola (SAN) Annual Meritorious Award for Excellence in Academics. She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators.
