Adeola Austin Oyinlade

Adeola Austin Oyinlade is the Senior Partner of Adeola Oyinlade & Co, practicing in the firm's Corporate Law, Taxation, Intellectual Property, and Company Secretarial practice groups. He advises a wide range of national and foreign clients, including intergovernmental organizations, multinationals, financial institutions, universities, and technology companies, on international contracts, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, foreign investment, due diligence, trademark licensing, and cross-border litigation strategy.

He holds an LL.M. from the University of Lagos, a B.L. from the Nigerian Law School, and an LL.B. from the University of Lagos. He is a member of the International Bar Association and the Nigerian Bar Association, and serves as the NBA Representative on the National Committee Against Torture.

Mr. Oyinlade has received global recognition for his human rights work, including the 2018 International Bar Association (IBA) Human Rights Lawyer of the Year award and the 2021 American Bar Association (ABA) International Human Rights Award. He has spoken on international law and human rights before the African Union, UNESCO, UNDP, and UN-HABITAT, and is frequently invited to comment on national and international media including BBC, France 24, and CGTN.
