Fidelis Adewole

Fidelis Adewole serves as the Managing Partner at G. Elias. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, where he graduated at the top of his class. Fidelis also earned his B.L. at the Nigerian Law School, receiving the Prince Bola Ajibola Prize for excellence in Civil Procedure and the Dr. Mudiaga Odje Prize for outstanding performance in both Civil and Criminal Procedure.

Fidelis is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK) and the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, as well as an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers. He is also a Notary Public and an active member of the Nigerian Bar.

His practice spans dispute resolution, corporate law, taxation, project advisory, insolvency, and restructuring. Notable engagements include advising BUA Cement Plc on its merger with Cement Company of Northern Nigeria and its listing on the Nigerian Stock Exchange, assisting leading distributors and private equity firms with mergers, acquisitions, and sales of business interests, and representing major corporations such as British America Tobacco Plc and commercial banks in high-profile litigation and arbitral proceedings across Nigeria.
