Francis Ebuka Ekechi

Francis Ebuka Ekechi is a Partner at Hans Offia & Associates and leads the Firm’s Banking & Finance and Regulatory Compliance practice teams. He is a highly experienced Corporate & Commercial Lawyer with strong expertise in financial services regulation and complex transaction structuring.

His practice focuses on banking and finance law, loan syndication, bond issuance, project finance, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, securities regulation, investment banking, asset management, and corporate restructuring. He regularly advises banks, corporates, fund managers, and project sponsors on debt and equity financing, fund formation, and large-scale commercial transactions.

Before joining Hans Offia & Associates, he held senior legal roles at Titan Trust Bank, First Bank of Nigeria Limited, and Zenith Bank Plc, where he led major transactions involving infrastructure finance, syndicated loans, and corporate restructuring.

He holds an LL.M from the University of Lagos, a B.L from the Nigerian Law School, and an LL.B from Ebonyi State University. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.
