Ifeoma Ezenwa

Ifeoma Ezenwa is an Executive Senior Associate and Practice Head at Olisa Agbakoba Legal, specialising in dispute resolution, commercial litigation, arbitration, maritime law, oil and gas, banking, and cross‑border disputes. She is recognised for handling complex, high‑value, and politically sensitive matters, with particular strength in appellate advocacy, debt recovery, and strategic dispute management.

She has played a pivotal role in multi‑billion‑naira debt recovery disputes involving AMCON, securing the setting aside of interim forfeiture orders and reversing asset sales. She contributed to the defence of claims exceeding ₦80 billion and advised on post‑judgment issues arising from a ₦225 billion Supreme Court decision. She secured the reinstatement of a client into a multi‑billion‑naira oil and gas joint venture, led vessel arrests and enforcement actions with assets valued over $900 million, and contributed to expert opinions in the Ogale‑Bille oil spill litigation in UK courts. She also handles sensitive cross‑border family law matters, including international child custody and abduction cases.

Ifeoma holds an LL.B (Hons) from Enugu State University of Science and Technology and a B.L. from the Nigerian Law School, Lagos Campus. She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, BRIPAN, Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators, and the NBA Section on Legal Practice. She is a recognised speaker on environmental justice, dispute resolution, and climate change, and serves on the 2026 Conference Organising Committee of the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators.
