Kehinde Daodu

Kehinde Daodu is a Partner with expertise in energy and extractive industry, corporate restructuring, banking and securities, and litigation, arbitration and ADR. He advises mining companies, government entities, and international joint ventures on mineral asset transactions, project financing, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution across Nigeria's extractive sector.

He has acted as transaction counsel to an indigenous mining company on the sale of its mineral assets, represented a foremost mining company in a billions‑of‑naira trespass and illegal gold mining claim in southwestern Nigeria, and advised the Federal Government of Nigeria and international NGOs on the protection of mining host community rights. He has advised the Nigerian partner in an international joint venture on the development and financing of a gold and lithium project, and on the reverse takeover of a mining asset listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange. He also acts as counsel in arbitration and litigation for an international oil company in claims worth billions of US dollars, advises a multinational logistics company in a multi‑million‑dollar arbitration, and is currently advising a sub‑national on a gas distribution infrastructure masterplan involving an IOC valued in excess of hundreds of millions of US dollars.

Kehinde holds an LL.B (Hon) from the University of Ilorin, Kwara State and is admitted to practice law in Nigeria. He is a Notary Public of Nigeria appointed by the Chief Justice of the Federation. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, United Kingdom, and an Associate Member of the Business Recovery & Insolvency Practitioners of Nigeria.
