Michael Akinleye

Michael Akinleye is a Partner in the Dispute Resolution group at Dentons ACAS-Law, specializing in Dispute Resolution. He has vast experience in labour and employment disputes, intellectual property rights protection (copyright, trademark, patent, and designs), and litigation across various sectors of the economy.

Michael has prosecuted numerous matters at the National Industrial Court of Nigeria, including wrongful termination of employment, claims for terminal benefits, constructive dismissal, personal injury, and compensation under the Employee’s Compensation Act. He regularly handles complex litigation arising from commercial transactions, intellectual property rights, and disputes relating to constitutional and statutory interpretation at all levels of the Nigerian courts. He also provides legal guidance on a wide range of commercial, business, and statutory matters.

He was called to the Nigerian Bar as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria in 2011.
