Smart Ikechukwu Iwu

Smart Ikechukwu Iwu is an Associate Partner with expertise in human rights and public interest litigation, debt recovery, insolvency, and corporate and commercial transactions. He has extensive experience in human rights advocacy and has appeared in virtually all courts in Nigeria.

He has been involved in litigation throughout his career and has rendered numerous advisory legal opinions on referred matters. His practice spans human rights enforcement, debt recovery, insolvency proceedings, and corporate commercial advisory.

Smart holds an LL.B (Hons) from the University of Calabar (2004), a B.L. from the Nigerian Law School, Lagos Campus (2007), and an LL.M from the University of Lagos. He also holds a Proficiency Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.
