Toyosi Alabi

Toyosi Alabi is a Partner leading the firm’s Entertainment, Leisure and Media Practice as well as the Intellectual Property Practice. She has over 20 years of experience in trademarks and intellectual property litigation, providing advisory and regulatory support on IP protection, enforcement, and entertainment and media law matters.

Before leading these practice groups, Toyosi managed the firm’s corporate and commercial team and directed its corporate strategy unit, giving her a multidisciplinary perspective that integrates commercial and IP considerations in client advice.

Her work includes contentious and non-contentious matters in trademark law, intellectual property enforcement, and media-related legal advisory. Chambers and Partners recognize her as a “brilliant lawyer” for her handling of trademarks and IP litigation, highlighting her expertise in both commercial and intellectual property disputes.

Toyosi holds an LL.B from the London School of Economics, London, a B.L from the Nigerian Law School, and an M.A from Kings College, London. She also completed the Trademark Trial Advocacy Course at DePaul College, Chicago, Illinois, enhancing her specialized IP litigation skills.
