Ademola Akinrele, SAN. is a Partner in the Litigation and Arbitration Group of the firm. He has vast experience in general litigation and arbitration, representing international clients in corporate and commercial disputes across telecommunications, oil & gas, and banking.

He has represented Oando Plc, Airtel Nigeria Limited (and Bharti Group), ExxonMobil Nigeria Limited, Ecobank Nigeria Plc, BG Exploration and Production Limited, Texaco Overseas (Nigeria) Petroleum Co. Unltd. (Topcon), and Bouygues S.A. in litigation and arbitration proceedings.

Ademola is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, United Kingdom. He is described by Chambers & Partners as “cerebral and focused” and a “forceful and persuasive advocate”. He has received the Merit Award for Distinction in Law Practice from the University of Lagos Law Society and the Award of Fifteen Legal Practitioners of Distinction in Nigeria.
