Chioma Ngige

Chioma Ngige is an Associate in the firm's Dispute Resolution Practice Group. She advises clients across various sectors, focusing on intellectual property, entertainment, and maritime law, with experience spanning copyright and trademark protection, content licensing, brand enforcement, talent agreements, and contentious maritime matters.

She represents clients in complex commercial disputes before superior courts of record in Nigeria, advises on maritime claims including ship arrest and enforcement of admiralty jurisdiction, and supports production houses, artists, and content creators on the protection and commercialisation of IP rights including copyright and trademark registration, portfolio management, and enforcement actions. She has published "Notable Maritime Claims – Towage and Salvage" and "Examining the ABCs of Ship Arrest in Nigeria."

Chioma holds an LL.B (First Class Honours) from Afe Babalola University and a B.L. from the Nigerian Law School. She is an Associate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators and a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.
