F. Boma Ayomide Alabi, OON, SAN

F. Boma Ayomide Alabi, OON, SAN is the Managing Partner at Primera Africa Legal (PAL), leading the Firm’s Corporate Governance and Compliance Practice. She is an experienced Arbitrator and accredited Civil and Commercial Mediator, specializing in International Tax Law, Maritime Law, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Capital Market Transactions.

Boma has advised on major commercial deals across sectors including real estate, infrastructure, manufacturing, banking, hospitality, telecommunications, maritime, energy, and project funding and development. She served as President of the Commonwealth Lawyers Association (2011–2013), the first woman to hold the position, and has held numerous leadership roles on boards and advisory committees, including the Institute of Directors, ICC, ALFA International, and WISCAR.

She holds an LLM from King’s College, University of London, a B.L from Nigerian Law School (1988), and an LLB (Hons) from Rivers State University of Science and Technology. Boma has been recognized with awards including Women Entrepreneur of the Year 2007, Distinguished Trail Blazers Award 2012, and Human Rights Award by Open Society Foundations and the National Human Rights Commission. She is a member of the Body of Benchers, Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK), International Bar Association, Nigeria Bar Association, and other professional bodies.
