Glory Akani

Glory Akani is an Associate in the Fintech/Startup, Capital Market, and Mergers & Acquisitions practice groups at Aluko & Oyebode (A&O). She is the pioneering Associate in the Fintech/Startup practice group, assisting fintech and startup companies in navigating operational and regulatory milestones across domestic and international transactions.

She has actively participated in a wide spectrum of deals, including capital market offerings, M&A, and private equity transactions, with a particular focus on technology‑driven businesses. She has authored publications on the Central Bank of Nigeria’s directives to payment service providers, the Nigeria Startup Act, international money transfer guidelines, and the Evidence Amendment Act (2023).
