Ibukun Konu

Ibukun Konu is an Of Counsel in the Firm's Energy and Natural Resources Group. His primary practice area is Energy Law. Prior to joining the Firm as Of Counsel, he was the Head of Legal and General Counsel for major power and energy companies, where he advised both local and foreign clients on complex legal issues in both sectors.

As external and in-house counsel, he has a unique perspective in understanding clients' requirements and providing solutions based on his commercial sense and wide-ranging experience. He is well versed in commercial law, power, corporate and project finance, oil and gas, capital markets, infrastructure development and litigation.

He holds an LLB from Obafemi Awolowo University and a BL from the Nigerian Law School. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.
