Ibukunoluwa Maria Idris

Ibukunoluwa Maria Idris is a Senior Counsel at Dentons ACAS‑Law in Lagos, practicing in the Dispute Resolution group. She focuses on corporate law, particularly disputes involving shareholders and boards of directors, and represents companies in winding‑up proceedings.

Ibukunoluwa has experience in intellectual property, employment law, and family law. She is part of the team representing a company in resolving its shareholders' dispute, exploring both adversarial and non‑adversarial methodologies. She also conducts due diligence on the litigation health of companies for the purpose of international and local mergers and acquisitions. She is committed to pro bono work, including assisting women who are victims of domestic violence and advocating against the imprisonment of juveniles.

She holds an LL.B from Obafemi Awolowo University (2014) and a B.L. from the Nigerian Law School (2016). She was called to the Nigerian Bar as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria in 2017. She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria.
