Advising on a complex investment and restructuring transaction involving the injection of debt and equity capital by a group of foreign investors into an energy company operating in two of Nigeria’s Free Trade Zones. Advised a global cryptocurrency platform on the Nigerian regulatory implications of a proposed cross-border roll-out of a crypto-linked prepaid card. The product, licensed in the EU, enables users to spend cryptocurrency converted in real-time to fiat currency at the point of transaction.
