Judith Somtochukwu Ezeonu

Judith Somtochukwu Ezeonu is a Senior Associate in the firm's Corporate and Commercial transaction team. She advises and represents clients on various legal issues, applying skills in critical drafting, reviewing, and analyzing significant transactions. Her practice areas include corporate legal practice, technology law, intellectual property, cybersecurity, and data protection, with experience also in real estate transactions, election petitions, administration of estates, contracts, matrimonial proceedings, and medical law.

Prior to joining Primera Africa Legal, she was an Associate at Obra Legal, where she successfully represented clients in diverse matters, and served as Program Manager of Obra Foundation, facilitating training for Enugu State Judiciary personnel. She is a certified Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators and a trained Mediation Advocate. She has been awarded Rising Star, Technology and Innovation by the Young Lawyers Forum in collaboration with Law Awards.

Judith holds an LL.B from the University of Calabar (graduated as one of the top 5 best students) and a B.L. from the Nigerian Law School. She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Mediators and Conciliators. She serves as Social Secretary of the Governing Council of the NBA Young Lawyers Forum and Financial Secretary of the Enugu Branch Young Lawyers Forum, and is a member of the Young African Leaders Initiative.
