Kenechukwu Ogbogo

Kenechukwu Ogbogo is an Associate Counsel at Dentons ACAS-Law, practicing in the Energy and Project Finance group, specializing in Energy Law. He advises both local and international businesses on legal advisory services, from initial establishment and regulatory approvals to ongoing operations, structure, and exit.

Kenechukwu has been part of legal teams that drafted and reviewed sectoral regulations on the power sector, advised on appropriate regulatory licenses and permits for prospective licensees, and reviewed the Electricity Act and its impact on licensees and participants in the Nigerian Electricity Supply Industry. He maintains a persistent interest in the energy sector.

He holds an LL.B from Ekiti State University (2017) and an LL.M from the University of Benin (2022). He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association. Prior to joining Dentons ACAS-Law in 2024, he worked as a Trainee Associate at the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission.
