Margaret Arop

Margaret Arop is an Associate in the firm’s Mining and Metals Business Unit with a focus on sustainable energy development. She advises clients on renewable energy projects, gas infrastructure, climate-focused initiatives, and energy sector regulatory compliance, promoting responsible and innovative growth across the African energy landscape.

Margaret actively supports projects that enhance the long-term resilience and sustainability of energy infrastructure. She provides legal guidance on structuring energy transactions, compliance, and governance, helping clients implement solutions that align with environmental, social, and sustainability objectives.

She holds a B.L from the Nigerian Law School and an LL.B from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Margaret is a member of the Energy Institute (UK), Nigerian Gas Association (NGA), Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators (ICMC), and the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA).
