Lanre Olaoluwa

Lanre Olaoluwa is a Senior Partner with extensive experience advising public and private sector clients across banking & finance, telecommunications, information technology, hydroelectric power generation, construction & infrastructure projects, international commercial arbitration, and international mergers & acquisitions.

He has acted as court‑appointed Receiver/Manager on a ₦20 billion+ Eligible Bank Asset for AMCON, served as Lead Counsel for the $1 billion+ Zungeru Hydroelectric Power Project in Niger State, and led the multi‑million dollar breach‑of‑contract claims in UK and Nigerian courts that resulted in a $19 million+ award and payment by the Federal Government. He also acted as Lead Counsel in international commercial arbitrations under ICC and LCIA rules that secured a $15 million+ award and enforcement in the USA under the New York Convention. He was Lead Counsel for the £4 billion+ sale of PWC Consulting to IBM, the BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) Project for Lagos State, and the drafting of the Nigerian Cybercrime Law as Lead Counsel retained by the Office of the National Security Adviser.

Lanre holds an LL.B from the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University), a B.L. from the Nigerian Law School, and a Diploma in Business Administration and Management from the Lagos Business School, Pan‑Atlantic University. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and the International Bar Association.
