He is a seasoned lawyer and Senior Advocate of Nigeria with remarkable expertise in commercial litigation and arbitration.

With over three decades of legal experience, he has an impressive track record of advising and representing clients in high-profile cases across a wide spectrum of commercial law areas, including banking, debt recovery, insolvency, real property, maritime law, company law, and intellectual property.

A respected litigator and arbitrator, Olu routinely advises a broad range of clients including Nigerian and international corporates, financial institutions, real estate giants, multinational corporations, and High-Net-worth Individuals (HNIs) clients across numerous sectors and industries such as financial services, public sector, transportation, construction and infrastructure, telecommunications in both domestic and international arbitration proceedings.

Olu’s academic journey began with a degree in Political Science from the University of Ibadan, followed by a law degree from the University of Lagos and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1993.

His pursuit of legal expertise led him to obtain two Master’s degrees in Law, specializing in Maritime Law, from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, and the University of London.

After a brief stint with Tayo Oyetibo & Co., he joined Afe Babalola & Co. in 1994, where he has built a stellar career.
