Olubukola Olabiyi

Olubukola Olabiyi is a Partner in the firm's Corporate, Commercial and Capital Market team, with extensive experience in corporate governance, commercial law, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and regulatory compliance. She leads the unit responsible for the provision of corporate services to clients, advising national and international clients on a wide range of corporate transactions, including bond issuances, securities, M&A, and internal restructuring.

She has developed a deep understanding of the policy, legal and regulatory frameworks relating to general corporate and commercial matters, and has led the firm's team on a number of innovative commercial transactions. She is recognised as a “recommended lawyer” in the Corporate/Commercial category of the Chambers Global Guide 2018 and was one of the recipients of the top 40 Under 40 lawyers at the ESQ Nigerian Legal awards in 2018. She has also been recognised by Legal 500 for her “strong response times, business acumen and industry knowledge.”

Bukki holds a law degree from the University of Buckingham and has been called to the Nigerian Bar. She is a member of the International Bar Association (IBA), the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), and the Business Recovery & Insolvency Practitioners Association of Nigeria (BRIPAN). She has served as Chairperson of the NBA Section on Business Law Young Lawyers' Forum and is currently Chairman of the Capital Market Committee of the NBA‑SBL.
