Tom Wilson

Tom Wilson is a Partner at Olaniwun Ajayi (UK) LLP and a UK-qualified lawyer with extensive experience in Energy, Project Finance, and International Gas & LNG Transactions. He combines legal expertise with project economics to advise governments, sponsors, and lenders on complex cross-border energy and infrastructure projects across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.

His career spans top-tier global law firms including Ashurst, Latham & Watkins, White & Case, and Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP, as well as advisory roles with the Asian Development Bank and as General Counsel for Low Carbon Solutions & International Gas and LNG Growth at ADNOC. Tom is recognised for integrating legal precision with sector-specific knowledge to structure solutions that align investor confidence with national development priorities in emerging markets.

He holds a PhD in International Economics from Nagoya University, Japan, an MA from University of East Anglia, a BA from University of London – SOAS, a PgDL from Leeds Beckett University, and an LPC from the College of Law, York. Tom is admitted as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England & Wales.
