Tominiyi Owolabi

Tominiyi Owolabi is the Managing Partner of Olaniwun Ajayi LP and one of Nigeria’s leading commercial lawyers, with more than 25 years of experience advising on complex transactions across the banking, finance, energy, infrastructure, telecommunications, and technology sectors.

His practice focuses on Banking and Finance, Project Finance, Capital Markets, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Oil and Gas Transactions. Throughout his career, he has advised on some of the largest and most sophisticated financing, asset acquisition, and infrastructure development projects in Nigeria, representing financial institutions, multinational corporations, project sponsors, and investors.

Tominiyi has been consistently recognized by leading international legal directories for his work in project finance, energy, banking, and mergers and acquisitions. He is particularly noted for his involvement in major oil and gas financing transactions, large-scale infrastructure projects, and complex capital market mandates.

He holds a DBA from the University of Liverpool, an MBA from Manchester Business School, The University of Manchester, a B.L. from the Nigerian Law School, and an LL.B. from Ogun State University. He is also a recipient of the Eisenhower Fellowship for International Leadership.
