Olamide Basorun

Olamide Basorun is an Associate at Olaniwun Ajayi (UK) LLP in London. Her practice focuses on banking and finance transactions, with experience advising investment banks, export credit agencies, investment funds, financial institutions, and borrowers on a wide range of financing matters.

Olamide advises on corporate finance, acquisition finance, and real estate finance transactions, supporting clients through transaction structuring, financing arrangements, documentation, and execution. She brings a strong commercial perspective to complex domestic and cross-border financing transactions.

Prior to joining the firm, she trained and worked at the London office of Stephenson Harwood LLP, where she completed seats in Ship Finance, Funds, International Arbitration, and Real Estate Finance. This experience provided her with broad exposure to international financial and commercial transactions across multiple sectors.

Olamide holds an LL.B (First Class Honours) from the University of Birmingham and an LPC/LL.M (Distinction) from the University of Birmingham. She is a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales and a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, enabling her to advise on multi-jurisdictional legal matters.
