Promise Osimhen

Promise Osimhen is a Senior Counsel in the Corporate Commercial practice group at Dentons ACAS‑Law in Lagos, specialising in banking and finance law, capital markets, and corporate and commercial transactions. She advises clients on financing, capital raising, debt issuance programmes, loan and security documentation, share acquisitions, and tax compliance.

Promise has advised a client on a bond issue of up to N5 billion under its N20 billion debt issue programme in the Nigerian capital market; provided guidance to a proprietary and capital management firm on compliance with capital market regulations on venture capital funds; and managed corporate matters for various companies, including compliance with company regulatory provisions. She is also skilled in conducting due diligence transactions and restructuring agreements.

Promise holds an LL.B and a BL from the Nigerian Law School. She is a BMGA Fellow (2021).
