Abdulganiy Abdulganiy is an Associate in the firm's Mergers Acquisition and Private Equity practice group. He has considerable experience in corporate finance and M&A, having advised on some of the largest capital market and M&A transactions. He brings strategic insight and legal precision to every deal.

He acted as Solicitor to the Offer in Zenith Bank's NGN 290 billion equity capital raise (rights issue and private placement), Solicitor to the Issuer in Fidelity Bank's NGN 29.6bn rights issue and NGN97.5bn public offer, advised FBN Holdings on its NGN 150 billion rights issue, FCMB Group on its NGN 50 billion capital raise, advised Gombe State on a NGN 22.5 billion bond issuance, advised the Federal Government of Nigeria on the establishment of the USD 5 billion programme and a USD 500 million local currency bond issuance, advised Zenith Bank on the proposed acquisition of 58.08% of Société Generale Cameroun, acted for FBNH in the divestment of its shareholding in FBNQuest Merchant Bank, advised Veritas Registrars on divestment of its 49% shareholding in Prudential Zenith Life Insurance, and advised Verod Capital affiliates on obligations under an SSPA.

Abdulganiy holds an LL.B from Lagos State University and a B.L. from the Nigerian Law School. He has published articles including "Private Equity and Venture Capital Exit Strategies" and "The Impact of Global Energy Transition on the Nigerian Power Sector." He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.
