Ajibola Asolo

Ajibola Asolo is a Partner in the firm’s Capital Markets and Mergers & Acquisitions practices. He advises clients on debt and equity capital market transactions, mergers and acquisitions, antitrust matters, corporate restructurings, and regulatory compliance, with deep experience in the regulation of banks, capital market operators, derivatives markets, and financial market infrastructures.

Most recently, he served as group company secretary and legal counsel in a financial market infrastructure group, leading all legal, company secretarial, and compliance activities. He was a member of the exchange’s listings and quotations committee, acting as legal subject‑matter expert and gatekeeper for assessing legal, compliance, and regulatory risks connected to financial products and securities sought to be admitted by issuers.

Ajibola is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.
