Aminat Adenike Adepoju

Aminat Adenike Adepoju is an Associate with expertise in dispute resolution and technology, IT and telecoms. She represents clients in matrimonial property disputes, corporate insolvency matters, banking litigation, criminal defence, and estate administration.

She has been part of the team representing a real estate mogul in the settlement of matrimonial property valued at billions of naira, and the team that addressed a novel legal issue regarding AMCON assuming the role of a receiver after a liquidator was appointed over a company. She also represented a multinational bank in Nigeria in its defence of a claim exceeding one billion naira, and obtained a judgment discharging and acquitting a client of fraud and obtaining property by false pretences. She successfully facilitated the execution of Letters of Administration for seamless estate administration, and was part of the team that achieved an equitable division of joint marital property in a dissolution of marriage case.

Aminat holds an LL.M from the University of Lagos and an LL.B (Hons) from Obafemi Awolowo University, Osun State. She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.
