Benedict Ater

Benedict Ater is a lawyer focusing on Mergers and Acquisitions. His interests span private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and banking and finance, where he combines technical rigour with a clear, solution-oriented approach to advising clients on complex legal and regulatory matters.

A dedicated team player, Benedict is passionate about delivering client-focused outcomes and committed to continuous learning and professional growth. He has consistently graduated as the best student at every level of his education, including the Nigerian Law School — a consistency of purpose and discipline he carries into his practice.

Beyond the office, he enjoys travelling and reading thrillers, and is passionate about mentorship and knowledge-sharing, regularly engaging with young professionals and students through speaking and educational initiatives.

Benedict holds an LL.B from Benue State University and a BL from the Nigerian Law School. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.
