Chitom Rita Ani

Chitom Rita Ani is an Associate at Obra Legal LP, specialising in dispute resolution, litigation, mediation, and corporate commercial law. She also has a keen interest in information technology law. She represents clients in complex commercial transactions, client counselling, and dispute resolution through litigation and mediation.

She previously served as a State Counsel at the Rivers State Ministry of Justice, where she worked in the Department of Public Prosecution. She has coordinated numerous legal projects, including the Obra Legal internship and mentorship programme, ADR sessions at the NBA Enugu Law Week, and the NBA Eastern Bar Forum quarterly meeting. She is currently training to become a certified mediator.

Chitom holds an LL.B from Enugu State University of Science and Technology (2019) and a B.L. from the Nigerian Law School (2022). She was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2022.
