Cyril Okechukwu

Cyril Okechukwu is a Trainee Associate in the firm's Intellectual Property Law practice, based in the Lagos office. He is a commercially minded lawyer with a strong foundation in dispute resolution, mergers and acquisitions, commercial advisory, and intellectual property, combining legal analysis with commercial insight to help clients navigate complex legal and business issues.

He was part of the team that advised Providus Bank Limited on its landmark merger with Unity Bank Plc, one of Nigeria's most significant banking sector transactions. He is also currently undergoing training with the firm's Intellectual Property Practice Team, reflecting his commitment to developing expertise in protecting and commercialising intellectual property assets. He is an Accredited Mediator of the Mediators Training Institute and a member of the International Law Association.

Cyril graduated with Magna Cum Laude honours from both the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (LL.B.) and the Nigerian Law School (B.L.).
