Olasubomi Olopade is an Associate in the firm’s Intellectual Property and Entertainment, Leisure, and Media Practice. He advises clients on matters relating to intellectual property protection, trademark and patent registration, media law, entertainment transactions, and innovation-driven commercial matters.

Olasubomi has supported numerous clients in securing trademark and patent protections, navigating complex regulatory frameworks, and providing strategic commercial legal advice. His work spans the entertainment, media, and innovation-driven sectors, delivering practical solutions and protecting clients’ intellectual and commercial assets.

Notable engagements include designing and delivering an IP training module for MultiChoice Africa Talent Factory, assisting brands such as Dangote Industries Limited with trademark registrations, drafting film pre-production agreements, advising on defamation claims, preparing advisory memoranda for government ministries, and supporting mining and energy companies on acquisitions, PPP frameworks, and internal compliance improvements.

He holds a B.L from the Nigerian Law School and an LL.B from Bowen University, Iwo, Osun State. Olasubomi is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and continues to develop expertise at the intersection of intellectual property, media, and corporate advisory law.
