Emmanuel Bassey

Emmanuel Bassey is a Senior Associate with experience across commercial and corporate law, including banking, maritime law, arbitration, corporate governance, and receivership. He has advised on high‑value transactions and litigations, including a multi‑million dollar dispute with a multinational oil company over an aircraft purchase agreement, an arbitration against an aircraft servicing company, and multi‑billion naira debt recovery and receivership cases on behalf of AMCON and commercial banks. He has appeared before trial and appellate courts in Nigeria and prepared legal opinions for use in proceedings before the High Court of England and Wales.

He holds an LL.B from the University of Uyo, a B.L. from the Nigerian Law School, and an LL.M from the University of Lagos. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.
