Ikenna Okpalaeze

Ikenna Okpalaeze is an Associate with a practice focused on tax advisory and dispute resolution. He advises clients on tax audits, regulatory compliance, tax dispute management, arbitration, and commercial litigation, providing strategic legal support across a range of industries.

His experience includes representing clients before the Lagos State Internal Revenue Service (LIRS) and the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) in connection with tax audits, investigations, and compliance reviews. He regularly assists clients in assessing tax exposure, preparing responses to regulatory inquiries, and challenging tax assessments through formal objections and dispute resolution processes.

Ikenna also supports clients in high-value commercial disputes and arbitration proceedings. He has participated in the defence of corporate clients in appellate litigation, represented multinational oil companies in complex commercial and admiralty disputes, and prepared legal opinions on regulatory compliance, litigation risks, and dispute resolution strategies.

He is the author of publications addressing consumer protection, evidence law, and constitutional law, including “The Legality of No Refund Policies in Nigeria” and scholarly analyses of evidentiary and jurisdictional issues under Nigerian law.

Ikenna holds a B.L from the Nigerian Law School and an LL.B from Abia State University. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA).
