Mayowa Olusegun

Mayowa Olusegun is a Senior Associate and Team Lead in the firm’s Tax Practice. She advises clients on tax compliance, tax planning, corporate restructuring, tax litigation, transfer pricing, project financing, and due diligence, providing strategic guidance across both domestic and international tax matters.

Mayowa supports clients in navigating tax reviews, audits, and investigations by federal and state authorities, ensuring compliance while mitigating liabilities. She provides advice on corporate restructuring, project financing, licensing arrangements, disposals, and tax-efficient operational structures for resident and non-resident companies. Her work includes performing financial statement analyses for acquisitions, preparing and filing various tax returns (CIT, VAT, PAYE, CGT, National Housing Fund, and others), and advising on statutory deductions related to employment and corporate taxes.

She holds a B.L from the Nigerian Law School and an LL.B (Hons) from Obafemi Awolowo University. Mayowa is a Chartered Accountant, an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, and a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA). She has been recognized as a Rising Star in General Corporate Tax by the ITR World Tax Rankings.
