Ismaila Shaib Usman

Ismaila Shaib Usman is a Legal Director with nearly two decades of experience in real estate law, specialising in real property transactions, property litigation, and real estate‑related arbitration and mediation. He represents local and multinational organisations in a wide range of real estate matters, including asset sales and acquisitions, commercial developments, joint ventures, real estate investments, commercial and residential leases, title due diligence and perfection, zoning and land use, and physical planning and development control matters.

He advises clients throughout the entire lifecycle of real estate investments—from due diligence and acquisition to facilities management, disposals, documentation, and enforcement of contractual obligations. He is committed to value creation in the Nigerian real estate market, regularly assisting businesses and investors to maximise returns on their real estate assets.
