Mu’awiya Yunusa

Mu’awiya Yunusa is an Associate Partner with extensive experience in Banking and Finance Law, Islamic Finance, project finance, regulatory compliance, estate planning, and dispute resolution. He has advised leading corporations on a broad range of transactions, including project financing, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, capital raising, bond issuances, due diligence exercises, and company secretarial matters.

Mu’awiya has developed significant expertise in corporate finance transactions, asset tracing, debt recovery, regulatory compliance, and corporate advisory services. He has also participated in numerous winding-up proceedings, election petitions, commercial negotiations, lease and mortgage transactions, and complex legal advisory projects across various sectors.

He obtained his LL.B (Hons) from the University of Maiduguri and completed his legal training at the Nigerian Law School. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), the International Bar Association (IBA), and the Muslim Lawyers Association of Nigeria (MULAN).
