Nenjom Asuk is an Associate with a practice focused on Fintech Law, Technology Law, Intellectual Property Law, Telecommunications Law, Media Law, and Entertainment Law. She advises domestic and international clients operating across the technology, fintech, e-commerce, telecommunications, media, and entertainment sectors on regulatory, commercial, and operational matters.

Her experience includes advising technology companies and fintech businesses on market expansion, product deployment, licensing requirements, regulatory approvals, corporate structuring, and compliance strategies. She regularly assists clients in aligning innovative products and services with Nigeria’s evolving regulatory framework while supporting cross-border business operations.

Nenjom has significant experience in data protection, privacy compliance, anti-money laundering (AML), counter-financing of terrorism (CFT), and regulatory risk management. She has conducted compliance audits, delivered executive training programmes, and advised clients on governance frameworks designed to meet regulatory obligations.

She routinely drafts and negotiates a wide range of commercial agreements, including service level agreements, cross-border money transfer agreements, API integration agreements, merchant agreements, intellectual property licensing agreements, franchise agreements, and technology service contracts. Her telecommunications practice includes advising on licensing requirements and regulatory approvals for international businesses entering the Nigerian market.

In the entertainment and media sector, Nenjom advises on copyright protection, music and film transactions, publishing agreements, distribution arrangements, influencer engagements, advertising compliance, and brand protection strategies. She has conducted copyright clearance exercises for recording artists and developed intellectual property enforcement strategies for clients across multiple industries.

Nenjom holds a B.L from the Nigerian Law School and an LL.B from the University of Calabar. She has contributed to several legal publications, including the Chambers and Partners Fintech Guide, Doing Business in Nigeria Guide, and the International Comparative Legal Guide on Franchise Laws and Regulations. She is a member of the International Bar Association (IBA) and the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA).
