Oladamola Moses Oyabambi

Oladamola Moses Oyabambi is a Senior Associate with expertise in dispute resolution and data privacy and protection. He represents clients in commercial arbitration, tax disputes, and complex litigation across the oil and gas, insurance, and transportation sectors.

He was a member of the legal team that successfully defended a major oil and gas exploration company in a commercial arbitration, defending liabilities worth tens of millions of dollars, and also defended an oil and gas company in arbitration proceedings against claims valued at millions of dollars. He advised a high‑net‑worth Japanese company on the prospects of success in an arbitration against a Federal Government Agency involving a contract worth hundreds of millions of Japanese Yen, acted as part of the team that represented a Federal Government Agency at trial and appellate levels in a significant tax dispute, and secured judgment for a client against a multinational corporation in a dispute over the shipping of cranes. He also provided advisory services to a Nigerian insurance company on its application to NAICOM to act as an intermediary for an international health insurance company.

Oladamola holds an LL.B (Hons) from the University of Ilorin, Kwara State and passed the qualifying professional examination from the Nigerian Law School, Bwari, Abuja. He is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, United Kingdom and the Chartered Institute of Secretaries and Administrators. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, the Chartered Institute of Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria, the Business Recovery & Insolvency Practitioners Association of Nigeria, and the Young International Council for Commercial Arbitrators.
