Oluwasegun Ikuforiji

Oluwasegun Ikuforiji is a legal practitioner who practises across the firm’s Dispute Resolution, ADR, Governance Advisory, and Environmental Justice Practice Groups. He focuses on dispute resolution, commercial arbitration, debt recovery and asset tracing, receivership matters, governance advisory, and environmental justice. He has acted as counsel in commercial arbitral proceedings at the Lagos Court of Arbitration, including successfully representing a Nigerian company in sustaining a ₦600 million claim against a multinational corporation.

He has represented clients in land litigation, chieftaincy matters, election petitions, employment and labour law, matrimonial causes, and enforcement of fundamental human rights, with significant trial and appellate court experience. He has worked on receivership and debt recovery matters for the Bank of Industry, AMCON, and several commercial banks. He also serves as Legal Adviser to the Busaosowo Foundation and is a Climate Justice Advocate under the International Climate Change Development Initiative.

Oluwasegun holds an LL.B from the University of Ibadan and a B.L. from the Nigerian Law School. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (serving as Secretary of the Finance, Fiscal Governance & General‑Purpose Committee, NBA Lagos Branch), an Associate of the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators (NICArb), and has received awards including Most Influential Corps Lawyer (NYSC Kebbi State, 2018) and multiple academic honours.
