Oluwaseun Denagan

Oluwaseun Denagan is an Associate Counsel at Dentons in Lagos, practicing in the Corporate and Commercial group, specializing in Mergers and Acquisitions. He advises local and foreign clients across banking, corporate and project financings, private equity, capital markets, corporate restructuring, employment, and real estate transactions.

Oluwaseun has advised on a number of significant transactions, including advising the sponsor and borrowers in connection with the financing of up to US$1.3 billion for the development of key infrastructures in the Nigerian oil and gas sector; advising a publicly listed gold exploration company on a US$20 million Private Investment in Public Entity financing; advising a Canadian Development Finance Institution on a US$40 million senior unsecured term loan to a Nigerian bank; and advising a Nigerian fintech company on a proposed senior secured facility of up to US$100 million for working capital and inventory needs. He also provides regulatory compliance and legal due diligence services.

Oluwaseun holds a Bachelor of Laws from Lagos State University (2012) and a B.L. from the Nigerian Law School (2014). He was called to the Nigerian Bar as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria in 2014. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.
