Ozofu 'Latunde Ogiemudia

Ozofu 'Latunde Ogiemudia is the Deputy Managing Partner at Udo Udoma & Belo-Osagie, based in Lagos, Nigeria. She co-heads the corporate advisory, private wealth and pro bono teams and is a member of the private equity, mergers & acquisitions, and employment teams of the firm. Her practice focuses on Mergers and Acquisitions.

Her reputation as an exceptionally resourceful and adaptable advisor stems from her extensive experience in various areas of the law, including private equity, mergers and acquisitions, corporate and commercial law, corporate restructuring, regulatory compliance, labour and employment, and company secretarial practice.

In addition to her role at the firm, Ozofu currently serves as the Chairperson of the Nigerian Bar Association, Section on Business Law (NBASBL). She served as chairperson of the Technical Advisory Committee for drafting the Companies and Allied Matters Act 2020 during the 8th Nigerian Senate. She was also the Thematic Lead of the National Assembly Business Environment Roundtable (NASSBER) Regulatory working group. Between 2023 and 2025, she served as the private sector co-chair of the technical sub-committee for the Nigerian Economic Summit and is currently the chairperson of the central organising committee for the 32nd Nigerian Economic Summit.

Consistently recognised for her exceptional contributions, Ozofu has been named annually as one of the IFLR1000 Women Leaders by the International Financial Law Review since 2018.
