Oluwatobiloba Elujulo

Oluwatobiloba Elujulo is an Associate in the firm’s Mergers and Acquisitions, Private Equity Practice. She advises individuals, indigenous, and multinational companies on complex commercial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, divestments, private equity, venture capital, capital markets, infrastructure finance, corporate governance, private credit, and regulatory compliance. She also provides advisory services in corporate and commercial dispute resolution.

Oluwatobiloba regularly supports clients in all aspects of transaction execution, including contract negotiation, transaction structuring, interfacing with regulators, due diligence, documentation review, and strategic legal advisory. She has advised on divestments, acquisitions, minority and majority stake transactions, greenfield and brownfield investments, and the establishment of venture capital funds aimed at fostering startup growth in Nigeria.

Her notable engagements include advising a leading financial holding company on divestment of a merchant bank subsidiary, a cement manufacturer on acquisition and merger filings, AfricInvest Anglophone West Africa on acquisition of JustRite Limited, and providing advisory support to development finance institutions on equity divestments. She also advises leading banks on cross-border investments in Kenya and Cameroon, and capital raise and restructuring initiatives.

Oluwatobiloba holds a Certificate in Venture Capital from the Seid Institute, a B.L from the Nigerian Law School, and an LL.B from the University of Ibadan. She has been recognized with the Oladipo Ogunsulire Prize for Best Student in Corporate Administration & Risk Management in the December 2022 ICSAN professional examinations.

She is a member of the Young International Council for Commercial Arbitration, Society for Corporate Governance Nigeria, Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria, and the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA).
