Damilola Adetunji

Damilola Adetunji is a Partner and Head of the Corporate Finance Practice Group at Odujinrin & Adefulu, with over 22 years of experience advising on corporate finance, banking, project finance, structured finance, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and capital market transactions. She routinely advises market‑leading corporates, including development finance institutions, commercial banks, multilateral lending agencies, national and international oil and gas companies, and project sponsors and developers.

She has in‑depth understanding of the policy, legal and regulatory framework governing the Nigerian finance industry, with extensive experience advising on cross‑border financing transactions. She has been consistently ranked as a leading lawyer in corporate, banking & finance, and capital markets by Chambers and Partners (Global), Who's Who Legal, Legal 500, and IFLR 1000. She is dual qualified and licensed to practice in the State of New York and in Nigeria. She currently serves as an Independent Non‑executive Director on the board of Chapel Hill Denham Advisory Limited and as a trustee of several non‑profit organisations.

Damilola holds an LL.M from Harvard Law School and an LL.B from the University of Buckingham. She is admitted to the New York State Bar and is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, the NBA Section on Business Law, and the Nigerian Capital Market Solicitors Association.
