Favour Onyekere

Favour Onyekere is an Associate with a strong focus on corporate law, particularly Mergers & Acquisitions. He has relevant experience in M&A transactions, including legal due diligence, transaction structuring, and strategic advisory.

He was part of the team that conducted legal due diligence on the proposed acquisition of an IT company in Nigeria, and provided legal advisory support on an indirect acquisition of a leading insurance company. He also fulfilled company secretarial duties for the board of directors of the Rebuild Lagos project and collaborated on the financial audit of a prominent IT firm in Nigeria.

Favour holds an LL.B from Lagos State University (First-Class Honours) and a B.L. from the Nigerian Law School. He was the Best Graduating Student (Male) at Lagos State University 2023 and recognized among the Top 15 students nationwide by the Body of Senior Advocates of Nigeria. He has published articles including "IP SMEs and Economic Recovery in Nigeria" and "Downloading of Musical Works on illegal platforms: A Nigerian Perspective." He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.
