Ovye Israel

Ovye Israel is an Associate in the firm's Lagos office, contributing to both the Conflict Management and Dispute Resolution Departments as well as the Property Law Practice department. He is a seasoned specialist in dispute resolution, energy law, and property law practice, providing sound policy advisory to clients across various transactions.

He acts for both Claimants and Defendants in professional negligence, employment disputes, and arbitration proceedings, with considerable experience in the legal and procedural intricacies of such cases. He has demonstrated commendable advocacy and drafting skills, with an excellent understanding of court procedure and substantive law. He prefers and advocates for amicable settlement when possible, leveraging his dispute experience to advise clients on strategies to minimise the likelihood of disputes.

Ovye holds an LL.B from Nasarawa State University, Keffi (2019), a B.L. from the Nigerian Law School (2021), and is pursuing an LL.M at the University of Lagos. He is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators (ICMC) and a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.
