Zaynab Abdusalam

Zaynab Abdusalam is an Associate in the Firm’s Dispute Resolution Practice Group, focusing on Dispute Resolution. She is a distinguished energy and corporate law lawyer with a keen focus on contractual disputes, corporate compliance, regulatory advisory, and cross-border commercial matters.

She has a strong interest in energy law, particularly oil and gas regulation, energy transition policies, and emerging trends in natural resource management.

Beyond her dispute resolution practice, Zaynab is a prolific legal researcher and writer. She has co-authored articles on oil and gas, court judgments, and the enforcement of foreign judgments, contributing to critical discussions on legal and regulatory developments in Nigeria and beyond.

She holds an LL.B from Olabisi Onabanjo University (2021) and a B.L from the Nigerian Law School (2024), and was recognised with an Award of Excellence at the 2024 FIDA Law Week. She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, the Nigerian Bar Association Section on Business Law, the Business Recovery and Insolvency Practitioners Association of Nigeria, the International Federation of Women Lawyers, and the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators.
