Abdulhafeez Apena

Abdulhafeez Apena is a Senior Associate in the firm’s dispute resolution team, routinely acting for clients in commercial litigation, international arbitration, and general alternative dispute resolution. His experience spans banking litigation, labour disputes, debt recovery, real estate, financial services, and government and public administration.

He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from the University of Lagos and an LL.M in Comparative & International Dispute Resolution from the School of International Arbitration, Queen Mary University of London. He is a Chevening Scholar and holds a Diploma in international arbitration from the Africa Arbitration Academy (2023). He is an accredited mediator of the Lagos Multi‑Door Courthouse (LMDC).

Abdulhafeez is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, the LCIA African User’s Council, Young ICCA, ICC‑YAF, Association of Young Arbitrators (AYA), LCIA YIAG, and WIPO ADR Young.
