Abisola Peters

Abisola Peters is a Senior Counsel in the Energy and Project Finance Practice Group at Dentons ACAS‑Law in Lagos, specialising in infrastructure law, project finance, and sustainable finance. She advises clients through the financing, development, and implementation of projects that contribute to environmental stewardship and address climate change concerns.

Abisola has experience in drafting sustainability disclosure standards in compliance with globally recognised frameworks such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), and the Task Force on Climate‑Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD). She leverages her knowledge of sustainability principles and regulations to help clients navigate the evolving landscape of energy financing, green bonds, and other sustainable finance mechanisms.

Abisola holds an LL.B from Swansea University (2017), an MA in Political Science from Swansea University (2018), and a BL from the Nigerian Law School (2024). She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and the NBA Section on Business Law, an Associate Member of the Sustainability Professionals Institute of Nigeria, and a Fellow of Dataville Research LLC and the Institute of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability.
